Visible Light Catalyst
Many applications require photocatalytic material to be active in the visible range, let it be indoors application or outdoors application with limited exposure to sunlight e.g. tunnels. JOMA has developed a doped MOX powders that have higher photocatalytic activity in the visible range of the spectrum. Whilst regular anatase titania has cut off absorbance at 380 nm, our doped N-MOX materials displays photocatalytic activity up to 600 nm
In our measurements of photocatalytic breakdown of methanol under visible light the N-MOX powder shows higher activity than un-doped MOX and at least 10 time higher than a research standard P25 calculated per gram of catalyst.
