The key component in our products is titania nanoparticles. Such particles are photocatalysts, which means that they can speed up chemical reactions in the presence of UV-light (daylight is enough). Examples of such reactions are the break-down of NOx-gasses or organic materials like bacteria, fungi and algae. With the help of photocatalysis, NOx-gasses are efficiently broken down to harmless nitrates and organic compounds are broken down to CO2 and water. The result is cleaner air and cleaner surfaces with a green product. A key property of a catalyst is that it is not used up in the reaction, meaning that as long as the treated surface has access to daylight and rain, the cleaning processes will continue.
